Special Steel Business Unit Won Approval of Strategic Customer -Eaton

Recently with its high end quality and stable supply capacity, the valve steel products of Special Steel Business Unit won the approval of the strategic customer — Eaton (China), who has included this kind of products into Eaton's global purchase scope. This act lays the foundation for the valve steel products of Special Steel Business Unit to open up the international market in an all-round way.
Since 2006, the valve steel production, sales and R&D team of Special Steel Business Unit has been exploring the development, manufacture and stable production of valve steel products. Through the cooperation and exchanges with Eaton (China) for some years, the valve steel supply has taken shape.
In March this year, after the first batch of trial order products was supplied to Eaton (Italy), the customer gave approval to the material. In September, the global purchase leader's team of Eaton Vehicle Group went to the Special Steel Business Unit for investigation. After the first-hand investigation of valve steel smelting and rolling line, the expanded bright steel grinding line, the actual product quality and production capacity, the team expressed the intention of subsequent long-term purchase. Recently, the contract of the first batch from Eaton (Italy) is sent down officially, according to which 75t EMS1 products of two specifications will be supplied to it each month next year. Moreover, Eaton (America) also expressed the intention of purchase, and the contract of first trial order has been sent down. Plus the South American market developed previously, next year the foreign trade contract of valve steel of Special Steel Business Unit may reach 1000t in total hopefully.
