OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. At the airport "Boryspil" has started a pilot project "Taxi of new generation". On December 26, 2011 the project was presented by vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov.

Operation of taxi service - is an improving traffic conditions and most importantly for passengers efficiency of transfer from the "Boryspil" airport to destination and back.

"We set ourselves the task to supply with first of all high quality of transportation of passengers to raise the level of Kiev taxis and minimize any inconvenience to passengers", - Borys Kolesnikov said. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine also emphasized that it would be made efforts for further wage increase of taxi drivers.

"Taxi of new generation" has got the name Sky Taxi. Cars provide the highest level of service to passengers: car pool presented with model range Hyundai Sonata 2.0 ACP, ESP 201, comfortable salons which are equipped with air conditioning and airbags. Each machine has a roomy luggage compartment.

All Sky Taxis are equipped with a taximeter, POS-terminal, GPS-navigator and integrated bluetooth gives access to the GPRS channel to determine traffic jams.

Place an order for Sky Taxi passengers can directly in the terminal arrivals. Payments made by the passenger upon arrival at your destination based on the rate, which determines the counter. At the same time driver is required to give a receipt confirming payment services.

After ordering the driver informs the dispatcher on his readiness to accept new order and the car stands in a queue in a place-based.

The entire staff of the newly created service of taxi passed a multilevel competition. Drivers have experience not less then five years, or special education.

In addition to a high level of service provided Sky Taxi, for the first time in Ukraine in the segment of taxi transportation provided international safety standards: all drivers of Taxi will pass daily mandatory medical check; it will be mandatory daily technical inspection of cars.

The fare in a taxi will be determined at a rate of 6.5 UAH / km. This price is the lowest in Europe: in particular, less than half the delivery of passengers from the airport to the city cent in Budapest and Warsaw, almost four times lower than the provision of such services in Prague and Paris.
