OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. The cargo turnover of Ust-Luga Port from January to November 2011 amounted to 20,129,363.465 tons, thus exceeding the figures of the same period last year by 86.5%. By the end of this period, the number of the cars doubled to reach 120,182 pieces.

 In November 2011, the port’s terminals transshipped 2,396,323.430 tons of various cargoes that was 2.3 times more than in November 2010. Therewith, the car transshipment volume grew by 61.3% — up to 17,151 pieces.

 In 2010, the cargo turnover of Ust-Luga Port amounted to 11.8 mln. tons and 65,521 cars. By 2018, the port is expected to reach its full capacity and transship 180 mln. tons of various cargoes annually.
