OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. PJSC EMAlliance and NOOTER/ERIKSEN (USA) have concluded an Amendment to current License agreement signed in 2008. The document was signed by Mr. Dmitry Tarasov, Vise-President of PJSC EMAlliance, and Mr. Donald H. Lange, President of NOOTER/ERIKSEN.

The earlier signed agreement today enables PJSC EMAlliance to design and manufacture up-to-date heat recovery steam generators by NOOTER/ERIKSEN technology adapted to Russian norms. The Appendix to the Agreement will offer an opportunity to extend the license product line of heat recovery steam generators through manufacture of once-through heat recovery steam generators used in oil production.

The valid license covered the territory of the Russian Federation and CIS countries. According to the signed Amendment at present the territory covered by the Agreement extends to a number of East European, Balkan and Asian countries.

It is worth adding that under the signed Amendment to the Agreement heat recovery steam generators can now be manufactured not only at PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik (Taganrog), main manufacturing facility of PJSC EMAlliance, but also at the production site of one of the largest European boiler and heat-exchange equipment manufacturer, Duro Dakovich (Croatia), lately acquired by PJSC EMAlliance.

In the state-of –the-art design of the heat recovery steam generators manufactured by PJSC EMAlliance under NOOTER/ERIKSEN license provision is made for once-through circulation which helps to make the boiler design more compact, reduce auxiliary power consumption as well as significantly reduce the expenses on the boiler maintenance. The undeniable advantage also consist in the possibility to install and operate new boilers according the normal regulation not requiring additional certification of erection, operating and service personnel under western norms, as well as a import consumables and spares. At present PJSC EMAlliance, under the current license, has supplied 28 heat recovery steam generators to Russian market.

The parties pointed out that the extension of the license scope will provide an opportunity to apply the state-of-the-art technologies for development of the national industrial production as well as serves as a unique example of integration of power engineering world and national experience.
