OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has introduced changes to the Order of the transfer of funds by the State Foundation for Youth Housing Assistance. Such Regulation, registration number 1259, was approved at a Cabinet session on December 7, 2011.

The changes eliminate any delays associated with processing a large number of payment orders, as well as significantly reducing their number. On the proposal of Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services the regional offices of the Fund transfer funds from the treasury accounts to special accounts in commercial banks, from which the latter will distribute them to the personal accounts of the borrowers.

As Anatoliy Blyznyuk, today the state through the State Foundation for Youth Housing Assistance partially offset the interest on the loans for almost 11 thousands of young families. Handling a large number of payment orders led to delays. This has caused not only widespread discontent of borrowers, but also led to a breach of contract. Therefore, the Ministry has developed the changes to the audit the effectiveness of the government programs to provide young people with housing, which was held by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.

Recall that state support for young people with housing held in Ukraine by the state specialized financial institution, "the State Foundation for Youth Housing Assistance" in the form of long-term concessional lending or partial compensation for the state mortgage interest rate commercial banks. The amount of compensation is set in the amount of NBU discount rate, currently at 7.5%. Benefit programs of the Foundation may single and married young citizens, who on the day of the contract are under 35 years of age and of registered persons in need of better housing conditions (the so-called apartment place).
