OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2011. By RF Presidential Decree No. 1616 dated 13.12.2011, Aleksandr Babkin, JSC Dalur Department Head and Deputy Director for Operations, has been awarded the title of Honored Geologist of the Russian Federation.

Aleksandr Babkin has been working with JSC Dalur since its establishment. He contributed notably to the development of the geotechnological aspect of feasibility study for the facility construction, and also prepared and implemented a number of solutions which boosted the efficiency of production processes at JSC Dalur. Aleksandr Babkin is actively involved in enhancing professional skills of young specialists and training new employees for the industry.

Previously, Aleksandr Babkin was honored with the Award Pin “Miner’s Glory” of the 3rd category, the Certificate of Merit from the Federal Atomic Energy Agency, and the Badge of Merit “Veteran of Energy and Nuclear Industry”.

JSC Dalur, which is located in the Dalmatovsky district of Russia’s Kurgan Region, is operated by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
