OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2011. Under the Law, "the primary purpose of the state program is growth in prosperity and improvement of standards of life owing to the support of positive structural changes in the economy, increase of its competitive ability as a basis of a balanced growth of standards and economic development rates."
 
The state program sets the goals, tasks and basic measures of economic and social development of the country for 2012, and fundamental areas of development for 2013 and 2014. The program determines pressing issues, risks and criteria of effectiveness for each area of state policy. State regulation performed by economic and organizational-legal tools should lay the foundation for a stable long-term economic development and growth in prosperity.
