OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2011. The volume of cargo hauled by Transgarant Group for the 11-month period of this year totaled 23.5 million tons, a 4-percent gain over the same period of last year, the Group said on Thursday.
In January-November, the company carried 134,000 twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEU) of container, or up 32% from a year earlier.

"The growth is due to an increase in the volume of exports / imports and inland container traffic, mostly by fast container trains. This significantly reduces the turnover of flatcars boost the number of transported containers,"  the company’s press release said.
