OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. The military & industrial complex of Belarus and the Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan are broadening cooperation.

Belarusian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich says that the Azerbaijani Defence Industry Ministry’s enterprises have launched production of optical products for military use on the Belarusian technology.

"According to our information, cooperation between the two countries’ military-industrial complexes is developing quite dynamically. Both sides are already switching from transfer of technology transfer and manufacture to their joint development. We celebrate creation of national defense industry in Azerbaijan for a short time, and the industry has already begun exports of arms," Patskevich said.
