OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. The overhaul life of the gas turbine plant GTU-16P, produced by OJSC Perm Engine Company and run at the compressor station "Purovskay-2" (LLC "Gasprom transgas Yugorsk") is already 40 thousand hours. But the plant continues to operate, maintaining performance level guaranteed by the producer.  

It is maximum operation time achieved by the plants, manufactured on the basis of PS-90A engine gas generator. The operating time of two more plants of the type already exceeds 30 thousand hours.

-Several hundreds of our gas turbine plants are being operated at the sites of OJSC ‘Gasprom", OJSC "Surgutneftegas" and some other companies. More than 30 of them have exceeded their overhaul life, established by technical documentation. All in all Perm Engine Company has produced and shipped 615 gas turbine plants, holding the leading position of Russian market of plants within last five years. Since the beginning of 2011 our enterprises has produced 35 new gas turbine plants and rebuild 48 plants. I'd like to emphasize that the specialists of the operating organizations appreciate our production for its economic effectiveness, reliability and long service life.
