OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. Azerbaijan has started active investments in Belarus.

Belarusian Ambassador in Azerbaijan Nikolay Patskevich has reported that Azerbaijani investors presently have 4 active projects in Belarus and several more are at the stage of consideration.

" Azerbaijanis are already investing in Belarus though the investments do not correspond to potential ",- N. Patskevich said. In 2011 they will make USD 15-20 million with prospect of considerable rise in 2012.

" Belarus constantly presents new proposals on enterprise management , construction of new productions, development of new natural resources field. In particular we offer development of drinkable water reserves ",- N. Patskevich noted.

At that Azerbaijani investors show excess discretion and are not in a hurry for making investment decisions.
