OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. Rietumu Bank has opened its representative office in the capital of Armenia – Yerevan . The Bank plans to widen cooperation with Armenian entrepreneurs, who are interested in expanding their business in Europe, as well as representatives of Armenian expats abroad, reported the press-centre of Rietumu Bank.

At the moment Rietumu Bank already serves numerous representatives of Armenian expat community who live abroad and keep connection to their native land; as well as cooperates with Armenian entrepreneurs in various spheres of business. The new representative office in Yerevan will allow our existing and potential customers to directly access the latest information about the Bank, its services and specialties, to personally consult on all the financial matters.

“Many Armenian entrepreneurs are considering the expansion to Europe now. For the implementation of these plans they need a good partner, who will support them and provide with full financial service. Owing to our experience and understanding of the both, Eastern and Western business, Rietumu Bank becomes a reliable leader to the European market. We also believe that there is a very favorable investment climate in Armenia now, therefore one of objectives of the new representative office is selection of ambitious investment and credit projects, including those in such an important for the country sector as energetic”, – says Rietumu Bank’s Council Member Alexander Gafin.

Rietumu Bank plans to expand its cooperation with companies in Armenia that work in field of transportation and logistics, export and import, financial services. All the banking service is provided in several languages, including English, Russian, etc.

Taking into consideration the interest of Armenian citizens in the residence permit in Latvia, Rietumu will offer its customers with full support in obtaining such a status. At the moment the residence permit in Latvia that allows free movement throughout Schengen area is obtained by several hundreds of Rietumu customers and their family members.

The office in Yerevan is the seventh representative body of Rietumu; such offices are also operating in Moscow, Minsk, Kiev, Almaty, Paris, Bucharest. The offices of the Bank’s official partner RB Investments are operating in several large cities of the CIS as well.
