OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2011. Bakcell, The First Mobile Operator of Azerbaijan and the leading mobile internet provider, introduces the fastest mobile internet in the country. According to Netindex rating by Ookla Company, Bakcell ranks 1st place on the speed of mobile internet traffic among mobile operators in Azerbaijan, reported the press-centre of Bakcell.

Netindex rating puts Bakcell in the 9th place on the speed of incoming and 6th place on the speed of outgoing internet traffic among the major internet service providers of the country including long distance carriers and fixed operators.

The ranking summed up the results of statistical indicators of Internet Service Providers who’s speed measured by its customers at least 100 times using speedtest.net or pingtest.net and mobile operators of the country between November 13, 2011 and December 12, 2011.
