OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2011. IBА participated in the seminar on integrated information systems and technologies for industrial enterprises. Intended for top executives of the Belarusian companies of the food and woodworking sectors, the event took place in Minsk, Belarus, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The seminar is the first event in the series of workshops organized by Infopark and IT companies on the initiative of The State Interdepartmental Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus chaired by Vladimir Semashko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus. Aimed at boosting the implementation of integrated information systems and technologies at the Belarusian industrial enterprises, the series of seminars is intended for local companies engaged in construction, manufacturing, energy, petrochemical, woodworking, food, and light industries. More than 20 companies active in food and woodworking sectors attended the first workshop.

Alexander Milay, Director of the IBA Integrated Enterprise Management Systems Engineering Department, and Valery Birin, Director of the IBA Division of Management Systems, participated in the seminar. At the session on technologies for creation of information automated systems, Milay delivered a presentation on the IBA’s experience in creation of automated systems based on ERP II Microsoft Dynamics AX. In addition, Milay and Birin participated in a roundtable discussion on the role of the company’s top management in implementation of information systems and technologies.
