OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2011. The State Corporation “Deposit Insurance Agency” (DIA) and the Federal Tax Service (FTS Russia) concluded Memorandum on information exchange. The Memorandum will enable both parties to more efficiently achieve their objectives: for DIA - when establishing grounds for insolvency (bankruptcy) of credit organizations and identifying signs of intentional bankruptcy; for FTS Russia – when controlling compliance with tax legislation, etc.
 Information exchange will include, among others, provision by the Federal Tax Service of information on identified tax legislation violations, on indebtedness related to fiscal payments, as well as on taxpayers. In its turn DIA will inform FTS Russia about bankruptcy proceedings in credit organizations, including on issues necessary for fulfilling by FTS Russia of its function of an authorized agent representing the Russian Federation interests in bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, DIA will share with FTS reports of credit organizations’ receivers in cases when FTS Russia is not represented in the creditors’ committees.
