The Board of Directors of JSOC Bashneft meeting in regular session, reviewed the results of the company’s work in the third quarter and cumulative results of the first nine months of 2011. Disclosure of financial results per International Financial Reporting Standards for the third quarter and the first nine months of 2011 is expected on December 8, 2011.

Members of the Board of Directors discussed issues related to realization of procurement policies. During that discussion, attention was paid to how highly effective organization of purchases of goods and services using tenders had been.

The Board of Directors of Bashneft also considered the company’s strategy in occupational health, industrial safety, and environmental protection. The strategy sets forth priorities in those areas: protecting the life and health of workers, ensuring employee safety in extraordinary situations, resolving environmental problems, and achieving front-ranking levels of worker health and safety. The company expects to spend more than 16.4 billion rubles in fulfillment of those goals in 2011–2015.
