OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2011. The President was accompanied with Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal district Aidar Metshin, OJSC TANECO General Director Hamza Bagmanov, JSC Tatneft Deputy General Director for Capital Construction Nickolai Glazkov.

Rustam Minnikhanov got familiarized with the progress of second stage of integral testing of 1A1 Startup Complex. Crude unit of CDU VDU, Visbreaker, Sour gas Flare facilities, Chemical water treatment and Deaeration unit and Tank farms were involved into the crude oil processing. All these facilities were included into the route of RT President along the site.

The results of the work were summed up during the further meeting. Before defining a new challenge Rustam Minnikhanov thanked management of JSC Tatneft, OJSC TANECO and Contractors for successful construction completion of First stage of Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex and congratulated with inclusion of Refinery into a number of operating RF Refineries:

– A milestone took place in the history of modern Russia, bran- new company came into being, – underlined RT President. – There are no such projects like TANECO within the country. Together we did a great job, each within its own responsibilities made contribution.

After the welcoming words Rustam Minnikhanov proceeded to discussion of the current situation. Vacuum block of CDU VDU and Visbreaker should be put into the operating mode to conduct integral testing. Mechanical works, pneumatic test, installation of electrical heating and heat insulation should be completed on the Sulphur production block.
