OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. The objective of the Forum is to uphold international cooperation for peaceful uses of atomic energy and to promote the nuclear industry on the global energy market.

Organizing Committee of the Forum is headed by Director General of Rosatom Sergey Kirienko.

The ATOMEXPO 2012 International Forum will frame the exhibition and the congress. Key issues of the nuclear power are to be discussed during the congress,  heads of leading Russian and international companies will take part in various round tables organized during the event.

Since 2009 it has become one of the central events of the world nuclear industry. The event attracts an increasing number of participants from leading companies of the world energy market. The Forum 2011 was attended by over 1200 delegates from Russian and foreign enterprises and organizations of the industry, 178 companies had presented their expositions at the exhibition area. 18 round tables were organized during the three days of the event, where 200 speakers took part.  Representatives from more than 50 countries were brought together in the Forum.

It is expected that the exhibition will feature the expositions of leading companies and organizations of the world nuclear market, such as  Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, TVEL, Concern Rosenergoatom, Atomenergomash, E4 Group, Kazatomprom and others. The participation is also confirmed by foreign companies and organizations, such as WNA, JAIF, OECD/NEA, World Energy Council, AREVA, Siemens, KSB, CNNC, Kazatomprom, etc.
