OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. The chairman of Board of Directors of GC “AVS Group” Valery Saveljev has got a prize “The man of the year” in the nominee “Logistics” according to the magazine “Delovoy kvartal”. The second annual ceremony of awarding took place in the hotel “Hyatt” on the 30 of November.

The annual prize is given to experts who put much effort into the development of economics, culture and social sphere of Sverdlovskaya region. This year the magazine presented 13 nominees: “The builder of the year”, “Developer of the year”, “ A Retailer of the year”, “The man of the year in the nominee “Industry”, “ A banker of the year”, ”The man of the year in the nominee “B2B (financial and juridical service)”, “Autodealer of the year”, “The man of the year in the nominee “transport and special techniques”, “The man of the year in the nominee “Medicine”, “The man of the year in the nominee ”IT”, “The man of the year in the nominee “Logistics”, “The man of the year in the nominee “Culture”, “Politician of the year”, “nominee of the partner of Citi bank: “The best social-orientated business”.

The nominates were defined during some months by the dozens of experts in the fields of politics and business in Sverdlovskaya region. In each short-list there were three nominates finalists. For example, in logistics there were two more nominates besides Valery Saveljev. They were Yury Stupak (company “lorry”) and Yevgeny Chudnovsky (airport “Koltzovo”).

Receiving  the award Valery Saveljev noted that logistics is one of the key fields of the GC “ASVS Group” activity.

“In 2008 we and the government of the region developed the Conception of transport-logistic system of Sverdlovskaya region to 2015 with a perspective to 2030. Its realization will give our region more than 13,000 working positions, more than 60 billion rubles for the budget and investments of more than 30 billion into the region. It goes without saying, that transport system of Sverdlovskaya region will be on a qualitatively new level.

Valery Saveljev underlined — today we discuss the using of this experience and realization of the program on the federal level.

Today the part of transport expenses in the final cost of Russian products is 15-20% to 7-8% in the Europe. Having created a federal, integrated into the world transport logistics system we can dramatically decrease the expenses in this sphere.

It should be noticed that air company on transportation of humanitarian, commercial and military cargoes and one of the biggest players in the world in exploitation of IL-76 “Aviacon Zitotrans” is included in the list of companies in the sphere of logistics. Also, informational-logistic group “AVS Logistiс”, transport-expedition company “AVS Avtotrans” and Euro-Asia Logistic Customs broker are included in the list of companies.
