OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. Ukio bankas concluded payment service agreement with State Enterprise Indeliu ir investiciju draudimas, on the basis of which Ukio bankas will be provided with information until 19 December on insurance payouts to the companies’ former AB bank Snoras depositors in Kaunas district. Imediately afterwards, payouts due to the companies will be started. Amount of deposit insured by the state reaches up to LTL 345 280, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

“After concluding this agreement we will soon be able to start paying insurance payouts to the companies in Kaunas district. Fist payouts will be transferred as soon as we get information and the necessary funds. We expect them to reach us already this week. We wish to make this process as fast and efficient as possible therefore we invite all companies of Kaunas district that are entitled to the deposit insurance payout to contact any Ukio bankas unit in all Lithuania. Companies, having submitted the applications will receive the payouts in the nearest future”,- said Gintaras Ugianskis, Chairman of the Board of Ukio bankas.

To ensure expeditious and efficient payout of funds to legal persons Ukio bankas encourages the managers of the companies or their representatives to apply to the nearest AB Ukio bankas unit and to open a bank account and fill in Application on deposits insurance payout transfer to the bank account with AB Ukio bankas. List of documents necessary for company’s bank account opening is available at the website www.ub.lt. Companies that are clients of Ukio bankas may submit their applications via electronic banking system Eta bankas.

Special telephone number for former Snoras bank clients is working at Ukio bankas: persons, who want to have a consultation related to insurance payouts may call 8 (37) 771655 in Kaunas. Companies are requested to register by e-mail: draudimoismokos@ub.lt. Employees of Ukio bankas will contact with the companies that have registered.

Insurance payouts to the residents that held their funds with AB bank Snoras will be paid out via  AB SEB bank. Private Ukio bankas clients entitled to insurance payout may receive the payout to their account with Ukio bankas. Private clients may find out their account number at any Ukio bankas branch or unit or calling toll free line 8 800 10007.  Residents that are not Ukio bankas clients may arrive to the nearest Ukio bankas unit and to open a bank account. 

Former Snoras bank clients will receive thorough information on deposit payout procedure at Ukio bankas units in all Lithuania and the employees of the bank will help to fill in application on payout free of charge. 

After suspension of Snoras bank activity, Ukio bankas receives more than 3.5 times new clients per week than usually. Mostly, the clients apply for the bank account opening, payment cards issue and wishing to use electronic banking service Eta bankas. Fast financing solutions that would enable stabilization and maintenance of the company’s activity are very important to the new corporate clients, consequently overdraft service is very popular.
