OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2011. Construction of a new sulfuric acid plant included in the program of "Kazakhstan's Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development in 2010-2014" has been completed in the village of Zhanakorgan, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The announcement was made by deputy chairman of Management Board of JSC "NAC "Kazatomprom" Nurlan Ryspanov and akim of Kyzylorda region Bulat Kuandykov during a teleconference with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev covering the launch of industrial projects.

The project involving launch of a new sulfuric acid plant in Kazakhstan is being carried out by the National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" in association with LLP "Mining Company" (subsidiary of JSC "NAC "Kazatomprom"), "SAP-Japan Corporation" (Japan) and "Uranium One" (Canada).
