OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2011. In November Estonian Air carried altogether 50 287 passengers in Tallinn, which is 28.7% more than last year. On regular flights Estonian Air carried 49 531 passengers, which is 27.7% more than last year. Estonian Air achieved the highest November cabin factor last month, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

In the first eleven months of 2011, Estonian Air carried altogether 633 433 passengers in Tallinn, which is 17.4% more than during the same period last year. On regular flights Estonian Air carried 561 015 passengers, which is 15% more than last year.

"During fall 2011, Estonian Air increased flight frequencies on several routes, for example to Amsterdam, Moscow, Kiev, Copenhagen etc. and this has had an overall stimulating effect on the demand,“ said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Commercial Manager.

"In addition to very good growth numbers, Estonian Air had an all time highest November load factor of 62.2%. Those positive results are triggered by new and efficient aircraft, increased transfer traffic and attractive pricing policy allowing us to add frequencies on important routes,” added Parras.

Estonian Air operated 10808 flights in the first eleven months, which means 10% more flights than last year. In November 993 flights were operated, which is 11.5% more flights than last year.

The regularity of Estonian Air flights in the first eleven months was 99.1% and the 15-minute punctuality was 91%. In November the regularity and the punctuality were 99.4% and 92.7% respectively. Estonian Air is continuously one of the most punctual airlines in the world.

Estonian Air flies to 25 destinations in CIS, Scandinavia and Europe. The airline has recently announced new destinations for next summer, such as Helsinki, Riga, Jyvaskyla, Hannover, Vienna, Venice, Kokkola/Pietarsaari, Joensuu, Kajaani and Tbilisi.
