OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2011. On November 24 of the current year in Almaty the meeting on development of local content, “Government Order 2012” was held where representatives of government agencies, strategic ventures and national companies, domestic producers and SMEs took part.

Managing Director of Service Projects of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” Magzum Mirzagaliyev informed the participants of the meeting about the results of work of KMG Group of Companies on development of local content and interaction with companies in Almaty and Almaty region in this year.

This year, the enterprises of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" in the region bought goods for 68.2 billion tenges, the works - for 57.3 billion tenges, services - for 34.4 billion tenges, including from small and medium businesses - for 63.8 billion tenges, from domestic producers entered in the register of National Welfare Fund “SK” JSC - for 12.7 billion tenges.

- Taking such measures for development of local content opens great opportunities for direct experience exchange and cooperation with domestic producers. So, this year 3036 contracts totaling USD  160.1 billion were concluded with suppliers of Almaty and Almaty region . The share of suppliers of Almaty region in procurement of KMG Group of Companies is about 17% and there are prospects for further growth, - noted M. Mirzagaliyev.

Also, JSC NC "KazMunayGas" has developed a catalog of products plan to be purchased by KMG Group of Companies for 2012-2016 years, which includes information on the requirements for basic goods of KMG subsidiaries, including “EP KazMunaiGas” JSC, “KazTransOil” JSC, “KazTransGas” and “KazMunayGas - refining and marketing” JSC. In addition, draft plans for procurement of goods, works and services for all subsidiaries of KMG for 2012 are prepared.
