OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2011. Alcatel & Lucent Company forecasts a 20% rise of its share at Azerbaijani telecommunication market.

Head of Alcatel & Lucent’s Azerbaijani office Levent Ozbilgin has informed that significant growth of the company’s market share at Azerbaijani market has been recorded in the last 2 years.

" In 2010-11 Alcatel & Lucent’s market share at Azerbaijani market has grown by 50%. Market growth in 2012 will be caused by issuance of 4G licenses to operators necessary for expansion of their networks , which will undoubtedly influence interest growth to the company’s solutions and equipment and greater rise of our market share ",- he noted.

According to Ozbilgin , at present one third of Azerbaijan’s stationary telephone network is built on Alcatel & Lucent’s solutions.

"In future we are going to continue and expand cooperation with Azerbaijan’s state communication operators",- he noted.
