OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2011. The mobile application CoinKeeper, created by i-Free, is now set to represent Russia in the finals of Mobile Premier Awards, after winningAppCircus Russia, the Russian leg of the high-profile international mobile app competition. The finals of Mobile Premier Awards will be held at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on 28 February, 2012.

The Russian part of Mobile Premier Awards - AppCircus Russia – took place at Moscow’s Digital October convention center on 7th December as part of the Mobile Developer Day conference. Ten mobile applications by some of the foremost Russian developers were selected for the Russian finals.

i-Free brought its revolutionary iOS application, CoinKeeper, to the competition. CoinKeeper, a personal and family budget management application, significantly accelerates the input of spending data and other transactions, thus helping iPhone and iPod Touch users keep their finances under control.

On the market since November, it took CoinKeeper just one week to make the Top 10 best-selling applications on the Russian iTunes Appstore, topping the sales chart in the “Finance” category.

CoinKeeper is radically different from similar products on the Russian and international iTunes Appstore. One unique feature is that CoinKeeper is designed like a game, which raises the app’s appeal to users. The other is its easy interface, which is intuitively clear to any user.

“This competition featured some very interesting products with lots of personality, created by some of the best Russian developers, the true front-runners of the mobile app industry,” said Ilya Chernetskiy, Strategic Marketing Manager at i-Free Innovations, referring to AppCircus Russia. “So CoinKeeper had to vie against some very strong contenders.
