Recently the selection of 2011 Metallurgical Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievements is unveiled, two achievements, i.e. "Innovation and Practice of Management Auditing Mode for Large Transnational Companies" by Auditing Department of Baosteel Group Corporation and "Monitoring of Trade Friction Risk under Global Horizon and the Construction and Implementation of Response System" by Marketing Management Department of Baosteel Ltd. received the first prize, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

167 papers selected and sent by 33 units of China Iron & Steel Association took part in the selection, finally 85 projects were awarded, including 11 first prizes.

Moreover, Baosteel also received 4 second prizes and 4 third prizes. The second prizes include "Creating the Technology Transfer System to Rapidly Enhance the Overall Technological Capability of the Enterprise" by Baosteel Ltd. and "Professional Integrated Management of the Plants of Steel Service Centers Scattering All Over the Country" by Baosteel International, "Research on Evaluation Mode of Customer Trade Behaviour Based on Life Cycle" by Baosteel International's Steel Trading Company and "Research and Application of Heavy Plate “1+2+N” Quality Management Method" by Heavy Plate Department of Baosteel Ltd. The achievements receiving the third prize came from Human Resources Department of Baosteel Ltd., Baosteel Metal, Ningbo Iron & Steel Manufacture Management Department and Stainless Steel Business Unit Ningbo Baoxin Company respectively.
