OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2011. The XII-th report and re-election conference of the young employees of OAO TATNEFT was held in the great hall of the Palace of Culture "Neftche". The conference was attended by 670 delegates from the structural divisions, subsidiaries and management companies of TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Today the Company employs about 29 500 young workers, who will address the strategic objectives of the Company's development to further stabilize crude oil production, development of petrochemicals production and crude oil refining, development of bitumen deposits, expansion of activities outside of Tatarstan and application of advanced developments and new technologies.

The youth organization has accumulated huge experience during the years of its existence taking part in solving the most pressing technical, technological, geological, and organizational/economic issues, implementing innovative ideas in the production activity of the Company.

The key aspect of the youth policy pursued by the management of OTATNEFT is to identify and support talented young people and determination of their creative potential. The high professional skill of TATNEFT workers is ensured by constant attention to the issues of improving the professional level of employees and especially young people. Development of the creative potential is also contributed to by annual contests of professional skills, seminars and conferences of different sections of the Central Council of young professionals.

Every year the number of works submitted for participation in the youth scientific and practical conference (YSPC) is growing with substantial improvement of the submitted works quality. The format of the YSPC is also changing: there are new sections coming into existence. If the authors of the works performed in 13 sections in 2010, then in 2011 their number increased to 15. The young professionals of NGDU Almetyevneft, TatNIPIneft and Tatintek have been the winners in the subgroups this year.

Research projects that took prizes at YSPC are being introduced in production activities.

A new corporate project, Corporate e-University (CEU), which is being successfully implemented in the Company, has become a significant contribution to the e-education of the Republic. Innovative software products including the ones for schoolchildren and students have been developed in the framework of the e-University. Within the CEU the young specialists of the Company develop their own business projects on the basis of a business simulator "Establish your business".

Contribution of the young people into innovational activities is also essential. Only during 2011 the young professionals of TATNEFT Company's enterprises offered 6,739 rationalization proposals with the economic effect of their introduction amounting to 419 million rubles. The young inventors have obtained 19 patents.

The delegates of the youth report and re-election conference discussed the issues of the production activity, professional development, labor remuneration and social guarantees provided by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Addressing the delegates of the youth report and re-election conference, Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Operations - Chief Engineer of TATNEFT, highly appreciated TATNEFT's young workers activities for the significant contribution to strengthening of the Company's position and enthusiastic participation in public activity.

The Conference adopted the Concept of the Youth Policy of TATNEFT, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, as well as management companies for 2011 - 2016. In many ways continuing the traditions of the Concept of the corporate youth policy for 2006 - 2010, the new Concept was adopted taking into account restructuring carried out by Joint Stock Company, and it will allow applying the proven effective mechanism of TATNEFT's youth policy implementation in the subsidiaries, affiliated and management companies.

Evgeny Piyanzin was re-elected as Chairman of the Youth Committee at the conference.
