OREANDA-NEWS.  December 13, 2011. S7 Airlines and India's Kingfisher Airlines have concluded an agreement providing for additional benefits for members of the S7 Priority and King Club frequent flyer programmes, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

S7 Priority members are now able to earn miles travelling on flights of Kingfisher Airlines as well as receive bonus tickets for any destination of the company's route network. Members of the King Club programme become eligible for similar benefits.

The route network of Kingfisher Airlines includes 57 domestic destinations and such international destinations as London, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Dubai and Colombo among others. Kingfisher Airlines is the only Indian company to offer first class domestic flights.

Kingfisher Airlines is a candidate for oneworld alliance membership with the joining ceremony scheduled for the beginning of 2012. The alliance currently unites 12 airlines from all over the globe – American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN Airlines, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Mexicana, Qantas, Royal Jordanian and S7 Airlines. Members of the S7 Priority programme can earn miles on flights of any of the alliance companies and get bonus tickets for flights of the partner airlines. A similar agreement between S7 Airlines and another oneworld membership candidate – airberlin – has been in effect since 2010.
