OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2011. The specialists of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SPSPb”) together with the employees of “Universal Forwarder” successfully reloaded heavy-lift import equipment – reactor (30-meters high) for manufacturing of  carbamide with weight of  315 tons. Cargo was delivered from Italy on the board of the vessel “Anna Sophia”.

In order to perform handling operations on the crane rails the port workers mounted sophistic metal structure – ramp with rotators, created by the engineering bureau of the port. It allowed uniformly distributing load on the berth.

Then the reactor was reloaded by “Demag” crane with the capacity up to 350 tons from the vessel to the berth 23 of JSC “SPSPb”.

In two weeks railway transporter will be delivered to the port and it will transport the reactor to Cherepovets in order to mount it at the territory of the company called “Cherepovets Azote”.
