OREANDA-NEWS. December 9, 2011. Sberbank of Russia and Troika Dialog won the “Breakthrough of the Year” category at the Qualified Investor 2011 award ceremony. The award marked the deal to merge the two companies.

The award ceremony took place in Moscow on December 6 with support from the Russian Federal Financial Markets Service and organisation support provided by the National Association of Private Pension Funds.

Last year Troika Dialog won the “Instrument of the Year” award at Qualified Investor 2010. The prize marked the open-ended mutual investment fund “Troika Dialog – Index RTS Standard” 1.

Qualified Investor has been held since 2010 by Russian consulting company IMAC and recognises significant contributions to developing a civilised market of qualified investors in Russia. This year the ceremony featured five award categories: “Event of the Year”, “Instrument of the Year”, “Strategy of the Year”, “Breakthrough of the Year” and “Market Figure”.
