Baosteel Gains Prizes in Overseas Invention Exhibition
OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2011. 8 projects sent by Baosteel gain prizes in the 63rd Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition and 5th Warsaw International Invention Exhibition, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.
In Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition, Han Mingming (Baosteel Co.,Ltd.) 's "iron and steel smelting large-scale raw material storage and processing technology", Zhang Bin and Hu Haiyong's "oil-immersed transformer gas conditioning device", "COREX smelting reduction non-blast furnace ironmaking slag recovery" by Liu Jiansheng and others(Baosteel Development Co. Ltd.) win the gold prizes. Ji Zhiyong (Baosteel Engineering)'s " AC variable frequency synchronous rolling mill electric slip ring on-line turning method and equipment " gains the bronze prize. Han Mingming and Liu Jiansheng's projects also gain the environmental protection special prizes from the jury.
Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition is one of the world's most influential invention exhibitions. This year, a total of 30 odd countries, 90 pavilions and 800 odd projects attend the exhibition, Chinese Pavilion has a total of 20 exhibition projects, which receive four golden, two silver, two bronze prizes. Baosteel award winning projects account for half of the Chinese Pavilion projects.
After visiting Chinese Pavilion's exhibition in Nuremberg, Polish Invention Association President invits Chinese pavilion to attend Warsaw International Invention Exhibition. Of the 8 Baosteel exhibition projects, 7 win gold prizes and 1 wins silver prize.
