OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2011. PJSC EMAlliance has won the tender of PAO Donbassenergo (Ukraine) for Project development and supply of the equipment for the technical retrofitting of Power Unit No. 13 at Starobeshevskaya TPS. The total value of the works on the Project will exceed 170 million Rubles. With regard to this Project implementation, the current EMAlliance backlog of orders will make more than 58 billion Rubles.

According to the tender documents PJSC EMAlliance will make a technical retrofitting of Power Unit No. 13 with capacity of 200 MW. Scope of supply includes replacement of the combustion chamber (furnace water walls) for gastight one with supply of improved modernized burners.

The Power Unit retrofitting will allow optimizing the thermal and combustion process, replacing the equipment completed its service life for the modernized one as well as improving the engineering-and-economical performance of the Boiler Unit. At the present time, the design installed capacity of Starobeshevskaya TPS is 2300 MW. The efficiency of the existing boilers is average 82.84%.

The Project equipment will be manufactured at the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance – TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik. The scheduled period of completion of works is May 2012.

It is a reminder that it is the third project of PJSC EMAlliance connected with the similar reconstruction of the Starobeshevskaya TPS power units. Within the framework of the partnership with PAO Donbassenergo PJSC EMAlliance has developed a project of replacement of the lower furnace for the gastight one as well as manufactured and supplied to the Customer the combustion chamber parts and modernized burners of the Boiler TP-100 of Power Unit No.11 and Power Unit No. 5 at Starobeshevskaya TPS.
