OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2011. Preferred and ordinary shares of JSOC Bashneft began trading today on the MICEX, Russia’s largest stock exchange.

Bashneft’s shares were included by MICEX in the non-listed securities accepted for trade. The ordinary shares (state registration number 1-01-00013-А dated April 7, 2004; ISIN code-RU0007976957) trade under ticker symbol BANE. The preferred shares (state registration number 2-01-00013-А dated April 7, 2004; ISIN code-RU0007976965) trade under ticker symbol ticker BANEP.

"We are extremely pleased that Bashneft’s shares, after first being accepted for trade on the RTS, have now begun trading on another leading stock exchange in Russia," Alexander Korsik, President of Bashneft, explains.
