OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2011. Tatarstan’s governmental delegation led by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov has arrived at KAMAZ with an official visit in order to get acknowledged with Lean Production principles implemented at OJSC KAMAZ.

Besides the head of the government, the large delegation includs deputy prime ministers, ministers, the heads of Tatarstan’s departments, educational institutions and Tatarstan’s enterprises. The guests were welcomed by KAMAZ’s top managers, including First Deputy Director General of OJSC KAMAZ – CEO Yury Klochkov. The delegation visited production facilities of KAMAZ. The officials saw the mother assembly conveyor, production and training centers, Kaizen classrooms at the automobile plant. They also visited offices of the Economic Security Department and the Central Accounting Department located in the general directorate of OJSC KAMAZ.

In the afternoon, a workshop will be held for the members of the delegation at the executive directorate. KAMAZ’s experts will share their experience with the guests and tell how they implement the Production System KAMAZ and develop Lean Manufacturing.
