OREANDA-NEWS. December 08, 2011. Mr. Ma Zehua, President of COSCO Group met with visiting delegation of the Port of Long Beach ("POLB") headed by Nick Sramek, Secretary to the Board of Port Commissioner of POLB in Ocean Plaza. Both parties exchanged views on future collaborations between COSCO and POLB, as well as the U.S. economy and world trade statues, reported the press-centre of COSCO Group.

The retiring executive director of POLB Richard Steinke, the successor Chris Lytle, and port commissioner Doug Drummond, as well as senior representatives from executive and transportation divisions of COSCO Group attended the meeting.

After the meeting, President Ma on behalf of COSCO Group hosted a banquet in honor of the POLB delegation to appreciate POLB's long-term support rendered to COSCO Group through years, particularly to Richard Steinke, the old friend to COSCO Group for his excellent services during the past 14 years of his directorship.
