OREANDA-NEWS. December 7, 2011. Mr. Vsevolod Starukhin, the Chief Financial Officer of DTEK, has become number one in Top-10 Chief Financial Officers in Ukraine, 2011’ professional rating, conducted by ‘Companion. Finansist’ magazine yearly.

The ‘Top-10 Best Chief Financial Officers in Ukraine’ rating is the only professional rating in Ukraine. An international jury of experts assesses the potential winners. This year, apart from a CFO performance results (dynamics of financial results, analysis of tools used and projects implemented, etc.), the jury also assessed the top-manager’s involvement into the strategic management of the company.

Speaking at the Rating Winners’ Awarding Ceremony on December 2, 2011 in Kiev, Vsevolod Starukhin said: ‘This year was not an easy period for our company, it was full of challenges. We have designed and accepted the Long-term Development concept. It will help DTEK become the largest player on the energy market of Central and Eastern Europe. It goes without saying that such an ambitious goal means great demands to the financial sector of the company as well. We apply the best European practices to build up DTEK’s financial management system. Our goals for the near future include improvement of the current financial management model, higher efficiency of budget and investment processes, and introduction of innovative project management decisions.’
