OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2011. At the customer seminar “Ariaasta 2012” (“Business year 2012”) in the White Hall of the Estonian National Opera, SEB introduced the innovations for business clients and the new Internet Bank for Business. In addition, the economic environment of the coming year was discussed as well as the developments of banking in the New Year, reported the press-centre of SEB.

“The success of Estonian companies increasingly depends on how international banks see their home market. The clients of SEB have clear advantages in this respect, as Estonia is and will remain the home market of SEB. We are introducing a number of innovations to support the clients of our home bank even more in these difficult times,” said Chairman of the management board of SEB Pank Riho Unt.

About one hundred SEB business clients heard the presentation of member of the management board of SEB Pank and Head of Corporate Banking Allan Parik, who introduced five of the more important innovations in business client services in 2012. The most important of these is certainly the Internet Bank for Business which has been thoroughly renewed. “Today, we open our thoroughly renewed Internet Bank for Business. There are nearly 300 changes in the new internet bank compared to the old one. Some of them can be noticed immediately, some will be felt by the client thanks to increased convenience of use,” said Parik. Nearly a quarter of the innovations of the Internet Bank for Business were done by SEB during testing in with many business clients participated.

During the past year, SEB has renewed all of its e-channels. In October 2010, SEB launched its next-generation Internet Bank for Private Customers, which differs from the previous version by its increased convenience of use and easy overview. For the first time in Estonia, the customers of SEB could use their personal Financial Planner. In April 2011, SEB opened a new mobile bank to its customers, which enables easy and convenient use of all of the most important bank services via mobile phone.

The SEB Internet Bank for Private Persons has nearly 558,000 users and more than 66,000 companies use the Internet Bank for Business. The SEB mobile bank has more than 96,000 clients.

Business client plans
Together with the new internet bank, SEB will begin to offer plans meant for business clients. “The company benefits from the plans by saving both time and money, as all important bank operations are done in their home bank. Even in banking, the principle of cheap bulk offers is becoming more common. For the company using the plan, all intra-bank payments are free of charge. The fixed monthly fee of the plan contains a certain number of domestic or SEPA payments, VISA Business debit cards free of monthly fee, favourable offers for property insurance from RSA Kindlustus, and other services.
