OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2011. The program of "National Research Center on Management of Coal Mine Gas"was checked and accepted by Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission Dec.3.

The center, over six years' of preparation, was jointly set up by Huainan Mining Group and China University of Mining and Technology, with two bases located at both units, in order to improve safety standard of coal mining industry and prompt the innovation progress of gas prevention.

During preparation period, the center had completed 10 national and provincial-level projects, attained 4 technological advancement awards, set 10 technological standards, and applied for 45 patents and copyrights.

The research center aims to transfer key technologies to main coal producing provinces and has already popularized research fruits in provinces such as Shanxi, Anhui, Shaanxi, Hebei and Heilongjiang.
