OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2011. Transaero Airlines announces its operational results for the first ten months of 2011.

For the period from January to October 2011:

- Passenger turnover reached 27.52 billion RPK, 27.8% higher than in the first ten months of 2010

- The total number of passengers carried amounted to 7,252,691 which is 28.5% more than in the same period previous year

- Transaero transported a total of 40,783 tons of cargo, 27.7% more than in the first ten months of 2010

- Ton-kilometers totaled 2.71 billion TKM, 27.6% more than in the same period previous year.

The company once again demonstrated the highest rates of growth among top-five Russian carriers.
