OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2011. Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex of OJSC TANECO, the strategic project for JSC Tatneft, has witnessed the milestone event. On the basis of Decree by the RF Ministry of Energy № 28-р dd. November 29, 2011 OJSC TANECO Refinery (General Director – Kh.A.Bagmanov) is granted the status of the Refinery in operation and included in the in the list of the Russian Operating Refineries.

The status of the Refinery “under construction” is changed to “in operation”.

On June 9, 2005 on the basis of the RT Security Council resolution JSC Tatneft was assigned to implement the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex with annual processing of 7 mln.t. of crude oil .

On September 26, 2008 FGU Glavgosexpertiza issued positive conclusion on Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex Stadiya Proekt documentation.

On September 30, 2008 Construction and Architecture Department of Nizhnekamsk Municipal Region issued a permit for performance of the construction works.

On October 10, 2010 mechanical works were completed on the facilities of OJSC TANECO 1st Start-up Complex.

On October 26, 2010 RFPresident, Dmitriy Medvedev, visited OJSC TANECO. The President familiarized himself with the project implementation progress and gave the instruction to start up oil processing unit in the commissioning mode.

On November 1, 2011 equipment of the 1st Start-up Complex which are part of CDU-VDU and Naphtha Stabilizer unit were undergone the comprehensive testing.

On November 3, 2011 Rostekhnadzor certificate on compliance of the 1st Stage of OJSC TANECO Optimized Start-up Complex with all requirements of technical regulations, other legal acts and design documentation was received.

On November 3, 2011 Construction and Architecture Department of Nizhnekamsk Municipal Region issued a permit for putting into operation of these facilities.
