OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2011. National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC) announced an enterprise name-list which passed approval of technology centre of national grade. Ministry of Science and Technology, Financial Administration and State Taxation Administration published an enterprise name-list which passed review of high and new tech enterprises. Jien Nickel was listed in these two name-lists, reported the press-centre of Jien Nickel.

Jien Nickel was recognized as tech centre of national grade in 2008. It is one of 13 enterprises tech centres of national grade in Jilin Province. In 2011, Jien Nickel ranked 102nd among 729 tech centres in China, 3rd place among 13 tech centres in Jilin Province.

Jien Nickel was recognized as high-tech enterprise of national grade in 2008 for the first time. Through 3 years’ hard working, it was reviewed in 2011 and passed the assessment successfully. The new reviewing standard of high-tech enterprise is much stricter than last time. Science and Technology Bureau, Finance Bureau and Tax Bureau of Jilin Province carried out a stricter review, so it is harder to pass it than the first time.

Jien Nickel played a leading role in nonferrous industry due to a lot of attention in innovation in Science & Technology (S&T). In recent years, its Tech Centre got good performance after big support from company’s leadership and coordination from each department. 28 patents were applied in the past 3 years and 10 patents among them were authorized. Moreover, Jien Nickel hosted an industry standard formulation once, participated in 4 national or industry standard formulations.

Awards received by Jien Nickel’s are following: 2nd prize for Progress in Jilin Science and Technology, 3rd prize for Progress in Jilin Science and Technology, 1st prize for Progress in Jilin Science and Technology. Projects undertaken by Jien Nickel are following: a Major Achievements Transfer Project of Jilin Province with 10 million RMB as financial support, an Innovation Construction Project with 5 million RMB financial support, a Science and Technology Transfer Project of Jilin Province with 400,000 RMB financial support, a Strategic & New Industry Project of Jilin’s NDRC, 1 million RMB financial support, a Torch Program under Ministry of Science and Technology.

After evaluation for 11 kinds of new products of Jien Nickel’s early or late, its technology reached national leading level and appraised as new products of Jilin Province. As to the other two technologies evaluation, Jien Nickel reached international advanced level and domestic leading level separately.
