Shanghai Baosteel Energy Tech Co., Ltd. of Baosteel Engineering Technology Group signed two energy-saving revamping projects contract with Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd, which means the radiation surface of the energy-saving revamping projects implemented by Baosteel Engineering Technology Group expands further within the range of Baosteel Group, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Shanghai Baosteel Energy Tech Co., Ltd. signed two energy-saving revamping projects with Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. That is, the annealing furnace energy saving reformation of the solid melt plant and the descaling pump frequency conversion reformation of the strip steel plant.

The annealing furnace energy saving reformation projects of the solid solution plant aim at improving the yield rate of the steel by constructing the annealing furnace comprehensive energy-saving facilities and achieving a substantial reduction in fuel consumption at the same time. It is expected that the annual energy saving of the project is 19600 tons of standard coal.

The descaling pump frequency conversion reformation projects of the strip steel plant achieve the energy-saving purpose mainly by setting up a frequency conversion speed regulating device and automatic control system. After the completion of the project, the annual saving of electricity can be 5.64 million yuan.
