OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2011. SASAC of State Council held the Field Experience Exchange Meeting for Economic and Technological Innovation of Central Enterprises' Employees in Baosteel, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

The meeting called on the central enterprises to earnestly implement the spirits of important written instruction for Baosteel's "blue collar innovation" made by Li Yuanchao, member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Secretariat, and minister of Organizational Department of CPC Central Committee and the spirits of important written instruction for this field experience exchange meeting made by Wang Yong, chairman and Party secretary of SASAC of State Council, energetically learn and promote the advanced experiences of Baosteel, etc., combine with the actual specifics, persevere unremittingly and sustain the development of economic and technological innovation by employees, promote the strategies of scientific and technological innovation and strengthening the enterprises with talents by central enterprises, and enthusiastically strengthen the employee team construction of "4 first class" (first class professional accomplishments, first class business skill, first class working style and first class achievements on the post), so as to tamp the foundation to strengthen the central enterprises and foster the world class enterprises with international competitiveness, and greet the successful convening of 18th National Congress of CPC with excellent achievements.

Vice chairman and member of the Party committee of the SASAC of State Council Jiang Zhigang, member of the Party committee, vice secretary-general and Party secretary of Management Bureau of the SASAC of State Council Du Yuanquan, vice director of Talent Work Bureau of Organizational Department of CPC Central Committee Li Bo, deputy director of Economic and Technological Affairs Department of All-China Federation of Trade Unions Wang Xinwei, the leaders of the relevant bureaus and departments of the SASAC of the State council; the responsible leaders and trade union leaders of each central enterprise; Xu Lejiang, Liu Guosheng, Fu Zhongzhe, Zhu Junsheng and Zhu Yiming, the Party and executive principals of each branch company of Baosteel as well as the grass-roots employees' representatives, totally more than 400 people attended the meeting.

In his speech, chairman Xu Lejiang of Baosteel Group Corporation said that, one of the keys to the development achievements that Baosteel has made in these years is to always regard technology innovation as the fundamental power of Baosteel's development, regard it as the decisive talisman in market competition, and innovation has become "DNA" of Baosteel people. Xu Lejiang said, Comrade Li Yuanchao's important instructions to Baosteel's "blue collar innovation" inspire and spur on the post innovation activities of Baosteel employees.

Baosteel will take Comrade Li Yuanchao's instructions as the strong power, earnestly learn Comrade Wang Yong's important instructions for this meeting and the spirits of this meeting, modestly learn and take references from brother enterprises' advanced concepts and experiences in employee innovation on the post, guided by promoting the all-round development of employees' team, and enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and by improving the mechanism, innovating the carrier and enriching the content, to lead the economic and technological activities of Baosteel's employee to an in-depth level, and build a premium project, so that it can really become an effective approach for Baosteel to realize the common development of enterprise and employees.

Vice chairman and Party secretary of Baosteel Group Corporation Liu Guosheng comprehensively introduced the experiences and practices of Baosteel to carry out the economic and technological activities from 4 aspects, i.e. employees' innovation on the post is the demand of enterprise development, systems and institutions are the foundation of employees' innovation on the post, cultural identification is the soul of employees' innovation on the post and common development is the root of Baosteel's second pioneering.

Liu Guosheng said, employee's development is the fundamental target of enterprises' development, innovation is the fundamental power of enterprise development, innovation on the post is the best point that combines the common development of employees and enterprises. Baosteel's strategy for new round development provides more opportunities to promote employees' innovation activities on the post in a more in-depth way. We should respect and carry forward employees' initiatives, realize the common development of employees and enterprises, so that Baosteel's employee team can always be full of the vigor for progress and innovation. We should rely on employees' wisdom and force firmly to promote Baosteel's second pioneering and scientific development, drive Baosteel to develop better.

In the meeting, Baosteel Ltd/'s skill specialist Kong Liming, director of Baosteel Ltd. Hot Rolling Plant Wu Xiaodi and chief engineer of Baosteel Ltd. Cold Rolling Plant Jiang Zhenglian made the speeches for exchange combining the respective working details; 3 central enterprises including China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, FAW Group Corporation, China Northern Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation also exchanged the experiences.

In his speech Jiang Zhigang fully affirmed Baosteel's experience of "blue collar innovation", and summarized the employees' economic and technological innovation work of central enterprises. He pointed out that, the experiences of Baosteel and other central enterprises fully demonstrated that the in-depth development of employees' economic and technological innovation work inspires the employees' enthusiasm for creativity, obtained numerous innovation achievements, fostered a large number of highly quality innovation talents and played an important role in promoting enterprises' innovation, accelerating enterprises' development and constructing harmonious enterprises.

Jiang Zhigang emphasized that each central enterprise shall be fully aware of the important significance of carrying out employees' economic and technological innovation work, insist in front line employees and grass-root teams as the main body, with the construction of "4 first class" employee team as the focus, to promote the all-round development of employees and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprise. The employees' economic and technological innovation work shall be further strengthened and the scientific level of employees' economic and technological innovation work of central enterprises shall be improved; based upon the grass-roots to move the gravity downward, so that teams and posts can become the important vehicle of employees' economic and technological innovation; foster the examples and cultivate the atmosphere to build employees' economic and technological innovation work into a premium project; emulate and strengthen the vigor to play the note of powerful employees of central enterprises.

In the afternoon, accompanied by Liu Guosheng and other Baosteel leaders, Jiang Zhigang and other leaders visited Baosteel's base for employees' innovation activities and the innovation workshops in the production site, and made interactive exchanges with the leading personnel of employees' innovation on the post including Kong Liming, Wang Jun and Chen Jie, etc.
