PM of Ukraine Acquainted with Modernization of Lviv-Krakovets Highway
OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2011. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has familiarized with the repair and modernization of the highway of state value M-10 Lviv-Krakovets.
"We have invested heavily funds in building a bypass highway around the city and in that highway, which links Kyiv with Europe. We will continue to invest resources in the construction of the modern roads," Mykola Azarov has underlined.
Thus, he has stressed that after execution of repair works, on a motor road there is opened the wide field of activity for small and medium businesses to build infrastructure.
"Equip this road, build cafes, restaurants, hotels, advance logistics along this route - it will definitely be extremely loaded," the Head of Government has emphasized.

The М-10 Lviv-Krakovets is included in the list of objects on preparation for the European Football Championships in 2012 and is combined with a direction of the international transport corridor № 3 Berlin-Wroclaw-Lviv-Kyiv; is providing transport links with countries of Western Europe with access road to the checkpoint "Krakovets."
The total length of the plots on which performed repair work is 76.9 km.
After end of repair work, on a motor road Lviv-Krakovets with the western bypass to Lviv, the conditions for heavy traffic of all transport modes will considerably be improved, negative impact on environment will be reduce, speed and comfort of travel will be increased.
Average daily traffic intensity of transport driving is from 5 to 10 thousand cars a day.
