The Conference devoted to demonstration of state-of-the-art development for automation of energetic, metallurgy, oil-and-gas and cement industry companies, modern information technologies, process control systems, RP, MES-systems, inspection technologies, automation, monitoring and process control systems has taken place in Moscow, reported the press-centre of Energy Consulting.

Conference is purposed to promote the integration of innovations, advanced solutions and devices for automation of energetic, oil-and-gas fields, refineries and gas processing plants, ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy companies, thermal power plants and other companies.

Deputy General Director of Energy Consulting group of companies, EC/Corporate IT Solutions Mr. Mark Samojlovich addressed a conference with the report “Sage: effective production management”.

Mark Samojlovich introduced new approaches to production management, told about development trends and practical experience in the area of Sage solutions integration. Besides the discussion of Sage base functional, the task of system use as management tool was updated within the framework of the report. According to Mark: “Sage ERP X3 – is optimal well-balanced product as for correlation of functionality, price, level of adaptation to alterations, ease of use and adjustment. System is directed to work with production plants; it supports various models of production and positioning of product. Mark mentioned in his report that Energy Consulting company makes an emphasis on providing clients with critical important integration solutions comprising specific software for production, which success in business directly depends on. Sage development represents prime example of successful implementation of abovementioned approach for industrial sectors.

Further, the expert of Sage ERP X3 Solutions Department Mr. Ilya Nefedov made a report devoted to Sage solutions practical application within the framework of disputing session “Sage: planning production”.

Ilya Nefedov mentioned especially in his report that planning is one of the main task of production plant, which distribution of financial, material and manufacturing resources depends on.

According to Ilya Nefedov: “Reference data: specifications and process flows represent the basis for formation of resource requirements plan. Sage ERP X3 allows running multilevel specifications of issued products. While forming hardware units and components the various planning parameters are taken into account, for example, time for material preparation for operation, relating between specification items and flow chart operations. Besides time characteristics system allows planning the number of work centers resources required for execution of all necessary working operations in production, as well as sequence and conditions for operation execution start”.

Other leading Russian and foreign producers of modern automation equipment were also invited to take part in the Conference.
