OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2011. On December 1, 2011 futures contracts on the average power price index in the Center hub (ECBM-11.11 and ECPM-11.11), Ural hub (EUBM-11.11 and EUPM-11.11), Western Siberia hub (SWBM-11.11) and Eastern Siberia hub (SEBM-11.11) were settled.

In accordance with the contracts’ specifications the following final settlement prices were calculated:

ECBM-11.11 – 896.30 RUB/MWh

ECPM-11.11 – 1048.23 RUB/MWh

EUBM-11.11 – 858.79 RUB/MWh

EUРM-11.11 – 970.61 RUB/MWh

SEBM-11.11 – 564.92 RUB/MWh

SWBM-11.11 – 583.53 RUB/MWh

The final settlement price is computed in accordance with the contract’s specifications based on the arithmetical mean of all values of the underlying power prices index that were published by the Moscow Energy Exchange for the period  November 1st to 30th, 2011.

The below positions were settled for the following amounts:

ECBM-11.11 – 162 contracts на RUB10.463 million

ECPM-11.11 – 242 contracts на RUB6.930 million

EUBM-11.11 – 856 contracts на RUB52.942 million

EUРM-11.11 – 3,004 contracts на RUB79.713 million

SEBM-11.11 – 40 contracts на RUB1.503 million

SWBM-11.11 – 4 contracts на RUB0.168 million

During the lifetime of the November power futures 3,207 trades with a total value of RUB4.889 billion representing 107,846 contracts were executed. 4,308 contracts for a total of RUB151 million were settled.
