OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2011. A signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on building China's demonstration bases in mineral resource comprehensive utilization was held in Beijing, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine.

The Ministry of Land Resources and the Ministry of Finance entered the agreement with 21 provincial-level governments to build 40 demonstration bases in seven fields including oil gas and coal.

Guo Jingang, the group's vice president and general manager, accepted a plaque of a demonstration base on behalf of the group. This signals the start of the construction of "Shanxi Datong Tashan Extra-thick Coal Seam Resource Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Base", the first one of its kind in Shanxi Province.
