OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2011. France is an important economic partner for Ukraine. This was announced by vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko opening a two-day working visit to France.

Sergiy Tigipko headed the Ukrainian delegation at the sixth meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-French Commission on economic cooperation. During bilateral talks in Paris will be discuss the most topical issues of Ukrainian-French partnership in the economic sphere. In particular, it will be discussed the intensification of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Ukrainian official will inform about the reforms in Ukraine and measures taken by Government to prevent the influence of the second wave of economic crisis.

"France enters to the twenty largest foreign trade partners of Ukraine, so it is extremely important strengthen of economic cooperation between our countries" - vice Prime Minister said.
During the visit the official meets with the State Secretary of Foreign Trade of France Pierre Lellouche.

Also Sergiy Tigipko participates in business forum of business circles of Ukraine and France, which developed by "Reform Club" together with the MEDEF - the largest business organization of France. It also comes to development cooperation, particularly in industry, transport, agriculture and energy.
