Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy & Food Took Part in Round Table
OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2011. At the round table "Agribusiness in a new way: is there life after the land reform?" Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk called on management of the professional associations and unions representing the interests of farmers, to join the finalization of the draft law "On Land Market".
Consideration of all proposals to re-give the first reading in the Parliament gives farmers opportunity to work in favorable conditions and increase the performance of agriculture.
Implementation of the Land Reform has been delaying for the previous 20 years. Therefore, those developments and initiatives now have to come to its logical conclusion - the introduction of land markets.
At a time when draft law "On the Land Market" is on revision in the Parliament, we have time to make suggestions and remarks ", - Mykola Prysyazhnyuk stated.
Another issue that caused a lively discussion at the roundtable was the concentration of land. The participants unanimously have supported the position that landowners, in most cases have to be Ukrainian.
