OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2011. The State Undertaking “Insurance of Deposits and Investments” has chosen Siauliu bankas to pay the insurance benefits to the corporate former clients of the bank “Snoras”  located in Siauliai county, reported the press-centre of Siauliu Bankas.

The deposits up to EUR 100 thou or LTL 345 280 in national currency respectively shall be compensated by 100 per cent to both corporate and private entities.

The insurance benefits to the corporate entities located in other counties shall be paid by the following banks: in Vilnius county - by SEB bank AB, in Kaunas - by Ukio bankas AB, in Klaipeda - by Danske bank, In Panevezys  - by Nordea bank, in Alytus and Marijampole - by “Swedbank” AB, in Telsiai and Utena county - by DNB bank AB, in Taurage county - by Medicinos bankas AB.

According to the member of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania Audrius Misevicius the depositors do not need taking any actions, they do not need addressing any entity. The “Insurance of Deposits and Investments” shall be transfer all the related data to the banks in the nearest future.

Currently the State Undertaking “Insurance of Deposits and Investments” is coordinating the preparation works (i.e. making the depositors’ lists, correcting the data, preparing information systems, etc.) with banks which are necessary to run the payment of benefits smoothly.

The banks and the State Undertaking “Insurance of Deposits and Investments” shall declare about the payment procedure publicly.

The entities shall be able to dispose their funds until the end of the year.
